朝、ホテル内にDHLを発見したのでムズズを発つ前に日本へ一部、荷物を送ることに。そしたら小さな箱なのに料金が３９０００マラウイクワチャ！（約２００００円＠＠）クレジットカードが使えないのと現金がそれだけなかったので町へ出て初ATMを経験。恐る恐るクレジットカードを機械に挿入するとうんともすんともいいません。画面も真っ暗のまま。キャンセルボタンをおしても帰ってきません。これが噂に聞いていたカードが飲み込まれるというやつか！(笑)　慌てて銀行内の方に相談し無事カードは戻り、正常に作動している別の機械で無事、必要なだけでの現金を下ろすことが出来ました。ほっ。

 I found DHL counter inside the hotel in the morning, so I decided to send some stuff to Japan before I leave Muzuzu. Then it costs 39000 Malawian kwacha even just a small box! (About 20000 JPY) I couldn't use my credit card and I just had my cash as like that amount, so I could have an experience to use ATM for the first time in the town. I nervously put my credit card in to the machine then it doesn't work anything, The screen is black too. Even I pushed a cancel but it doesn't come out. Is this a phenomenon in which a card is swallowed as I heard before! (lol) Hurriedly I came into a bank and consult to them and my card returned, then I tried another machine which works in a normal way and could withdraw cash. So relieved.

ムズズからリロングウェは完全なる一本道でした。ムズズのホテルを出てすぐを左折したら３５０キロ区間右折、左折一度もなくその道沿いにリロングウェのホテルに到着です。

Muzuzu to Lilongwe was a perfect straight road. When coming out of the hotel of Muzuzu and turning left immediately, neither the 350 km section, right-turn nor left turn is carried out once then I just drive along the way and I arrive at the hotel in Lilongwe.

リロングウェで訪問することになっていたマラウイの国民栄誉賞受賞者のナポレオンゾンベさんの作った病院、孤児院、栄養失調に苦しむ人へ配給する食料「ビタミール」工場のあるエリアに行きました。事前に頂いていた地図と場所が異なっていたため、ホテルからムズズ方面に２５キロ戻ることになり往復５０キロ余分に走行したことと、子供達へのお土産のステッカーをホテルに置き忘れてしまったのでホテルから１５キロほど走ったことろで再度ホテルに戻るという失態を犯したためこの移動だけで８０キロの走行をなりました。これがかなり効きました（苦笑）

I went to area with the "Vitameal" factory of the food supplied to those who are troubled with malnutrition, the hospital, the orphanage which Mr. Napoleon Dzonbe which won the People's Honor Award of Malawi has built.

なんとか、ゾンベさんの病院に辿りつくことができ、敷地にはいるとゾンベさんが外で待っていてくれました。到着時刻はすでに１６：００近く。「午後に行く」と伝えてあったのでひょっとしてかなり待っていたのかも・・（苦）

I could arrive at the hospital of Mr.Dzonbe somehow, and when I went into the site, he was waiting outside. It's already at 16:00ish when I arrived there. I've told him that " I will be there afternoon", so he might have been waiting for me long time...

ゾンベさんのオフィスでお茶を頂き、私の活動の主旨を話し子供を連れて来てくれたのですがそこでは１８歳～２０歳のお兄ちゃん達でした。

I had tea at his office, and he brought few kinds who are 18 through 20 years old boys because I've told him about the main purport of my activity before.

ネット環境と出発の時間の制約があるため画像はまた後日上げたいと思います。

今、イチバンの不安はタイヤです。２５００キロほど走行し、４分山です。ケープタウンまでは間違いなくもたないので途中でどこか探してタイヤを購入し交換する必要がありますが入手にかなり手間取りそうです。なんとか、情報を得て無事出来ることを祈ります。

Now I'm worrying about my tires. I've driven about 2500 km and 1/4 is a mountain. I'm sure that the tires don't endure until Cape Town, so I need to buy and exchange it somewhere on my way but it seems very hard to get it. I hope that I can get good information and make it somehow.

これから、チパタ（ザンビア）へ向かいます。ジコモ！（チュワ語；有り難う）マラウィ！！

I'm writing this at the room which house lizards are crawling on the wall in Muzuzu. (lol) Finally I could be in the environment that I can use internet properly. 

ムベヤを８：１５頃出発。ナイロビ出発の最初の頃は荷物が多過ぎ、大き過ぎ、重過ぎで泣けてました。ちょっとしたことでふらつき、立ちゴケしそうになり、何よりタンデム（後部）シートに載せてあるビッグバッグが大きくて乗車位置が超狭くて辛かったです。その後ホテルを点々として大分、荷物の配置、振り分け、圧縮袋の活用法も磨きがかけられ（？）荷物が小さくなり(笑)、重心を低く出来るようになってきました。

I left Mbeya at around 8:15. I've had hard time when I started from Nairobi because of too much, big and heavy all my stuff. I've been unsteady easily and likely to fall down, and the big bag which puts on the tandem was too big, so my seating space became small and it's been hard. After that I've stayed at some hotels, so I could know how to separate,  pack the stuff , brush up the skill of using compression bags and make my stuff small, so I have come to be able to make the center of gravity low. 

タイヤ（特にリア）の減りが目立ってきたので走行に細心の注意必要です。この調子では南アフリカのケープタウンまで持つか不安です。究極のエコ走行に徹します。

Since decrease of tires (especially rear) have been conspicuous, I need careful cautions to drive. I'm worrying if the tires can work until arriving at Capetown in South Africa.  I am devoted to an ultimate eco-drive.  

ムベヤからムズズの移動で今日は大事件がありました。。カスムーンという町がタンザニアとマラウィの国境です。もうすぐ国境というところで二股の分かれ道がありましたが標識が判りにくく低速できょろきょろしながら走っていると片方の道の前方から若い男性がダーっ！と走り寄って来て「両替え、両替え」と英語で言ってきます。噂にきいた「国境屋」さんの達です。お陰で国境がどっちかが判りました(笑)

There was a major event when I came from Mbeya to Muzuzu... Kasumulu is the town that the border between Tanzania and Malawi. There were 2 ways close by the border and I was driving with looking this way and that even there is a sign but it's not clear then a young man came to me from one way and said to me that "Exchange, exchange" in English. He is a "Mr. Border" as I heard before. I could know which way is to the border because of him. lol

結局、国境のイミグレーションのところまで何人にもあれこれ国境越えを手伝う旨の客引きのような人々が沢山いて、中々面白いやら怖いやらですが「ジャンボ＾＾」（こんにちは）「アサンテサナ」（有り難う）と笑顔で応えそのまま行き過ぎます。イミグレーション玄関前で自作の(笑)身分証明書を首からぶら下げた国境やさんがしきりに声をかけてきますが、楽しくバイクの話しでかわしそのまま自分で、パスポート＆カルネ（車両のパスポート）をイミグレ

で提出し、タンザニアからの出国手続きを完了出来ました。タンザニア側の国境役人から「全て完了だよ＾＾！」と言われたので約５０メートル先のマラウイ側の国境のゲートで係官から「パスポート拝見」と言われたのでパスポートを見せると「はいどうぞ」と言うのでそのまま出国です。さあムズズの町に向けて出発！と思いアクセルと開けようとしたところで、マラウイ入国の記念写真を撮ろうと思い停車、撮影。
Eventually, there are too many people who are trying to help for immigration until I get to the immigration. It's interesting but scary but I answered as saying "Jambo" aka hello and ”Asante Sana" aka thank you with smiling and pass through there. One Mr. Border who is hanging a ID of his own making on this neck  talked to me at the entrance right before the immigration but I talked about motorbikes and got past him, then I submitted my passport and carnet at the immigration myself. I've been able to complete embarkation procedure from Tanzania. An officer of the border at Tanzania side said "It's completed all!" to me and I moved toward about 50m to Malawi side gate of the border. An officer asked me to show my passport there so I show it then could leave Tanzania. I thought that let's start toward to Muzuzu and when I get start the engine, I made a stop to take pictures for entry to Malawi as a memory and took pictures.

そうこうしているうちにマラウイ側の子供がやって近づいて来てやはり「両替は？」とか「水を買ってくれ」とか言う子供達と話し、また日本からのお土産のコミュケーションツールとしてスポンサー様から頂いたステッカーなどをあげていると再び、後ろから国境の役人が登場し「ちょっとお前、国境のエリアに戻りなさい」というではありませんか！「なんで？」と聞いても「とにかくついて来い！」と冷たく言うだけです。何か子供と余計なコミュニケーションをとったのが悪かったのかステッカーをあげた行為が何か法律に触れるのか、はたまた単に難癖をつけられて賄賂を要求されるのか・・と不安になったところで一瞬頭をかすめたのは「このまま逃げちゃおうかな」・・しかしコンゴ近辺で警察の制止を無視したオーバーランダー（車やバイクで国境を超えて旅をする人）が銃で撃たれたという情報もあったのでとりあえず国境に戻ることに。そしたら「あなたカルネを出していないでしょ」と。そうだった！タンザニア側の出口ではカルネの手続きをしたのだがマラウイの入り口で提出するのを怠ってた！もしそのまま入国していたら、マラウイから出国する時に大変なことになっていた。（再びこの国境まで戻りカルネにスタンプを押してもらわないといけない）

Kids of Malawi side came close to me and asked me "Exchange money?", "Buy water" and so on. I've talked with them and give away the stickers which I was given it by my sponsor to kids then a border officer showed up behind me again and said "Come back to the border." to me!  I asked him "Why?" but he's not answered and only said "Come with me anyway!" dryly. When I became anxious that I was wondering it was wrong to communicate with kids, gave the stickers to kids was illegal or pick holes in me and try to ask me bribe... then I just thought as a moment that "just run away from here"... but I've got an information that an over lander who travels across the border by a car or motorbike ignored control of the police in the Congo neighborhood was shot by the gun, so I just went back to the border. Then he said "You didn't submit the carnet, did you?". That's right! I completed the procedure of carnet in Tanzania side but I forgot to submit it in Malawi! If I enter without submitting it, I would be in big trouble when I leave Malawi. (If it would be happened, I have to come back here again and get a stamp.)

あと、国境でスタンプを押す係官が不在になったとのことで時間をちょっとかかるとのことで国境付近にいる若者と話しをした。私がマラウイで明日会うことになっている「ナポレン・ゾンベ」さんを知っているかと聞いてみると、「もちろん知っている、素晴らしい人だよ」と言い、知っている限りの功績の話をしてくれた。私が友人で明後日彼と会う事を知ると周囲に居た人も驚いていた様子。自分の知人が有名で良く言ってもらえることは本当に嬉しいことだ。

話しは戻るがもしそのまま逃走？(笑)していたらトンでもないこと（５日間はロス！）になっていたことを思うとやはり何事も素直がイチバンと思うのでありました(笑)

And an officer who gives a stamp at the border is out of office and it takes little time, so I talked with a young guy who was near the border. I asked him that if he knows about Mr. Napoleon Dzonbe who I'm going to meet in Malawi tomorrow then he said "Yes, of course. He is wonderful person." and also told me about his achievement as much as he's known. When he knows that I'm his friend and going to see him day after tomorrow, people who are around us seemed like so surprise. I'm really glad that my friend is famous and being told good things.
Well, when I think about I will be in trouble (I would waste my 5 days!) if I run away at that time (lol), I felt that being honest is the best. lol

今日の移動の本当のハイライトはマラウイ湖です。海のように大きい（確かアフリカ最大？）淡水湖です。二年前にもマラウィに来たのですがここには来れなかったのでとても嬉しい。湖を望む景色が良い道沿いに無人の休憩所があったのでそこで今朝チェックアウトしたホテルから頂いたバナナを食べました。停めたバイクが見える距離に「店」がありトマト、干し魚を軒先に出していました。そこでコーラを２０円＠＠で買って飲んで店のおばさんと話しをしていると向かいの丘にある学校の先生が降りてきて私と話しをしたいと。インターネットがないので写真を現像してエアメールで送ってくれといいます。絶対送りますよ＾＾！

標高２２００m付近の結構寒いところも通過し、つづら折の峠道が長く続く区間もありました。（詳細は移動区間MAP参照）

I passed also through the very cold place near the altitude of 2200 m, and also had the section where road over a mountain pass of hairpin curve continues for a long time. (It is referring to the move section MAP for details)

マラウィに入って気がついたことはトラックの数が一気に減ったこと。道もアスファルトが白いです。（ケニアやタンザニアは日本と同じ色）人間のタイプもえらく違う感じがします。アフリカに来て皆さん良い人ばかりですがあえて私が感じたことは、タンザニア人は白黒明白、キリッとしている感じ？(笑)　マラウィの人は優しい感じです。「Warm of Africa」（温かい心のアフリカ＝マラウィの標語）です。そうそう、タンザニアはバイクがものすごい多く、街中はもちろん山中もひっきりなしに走っていましたがマラウイに入ったとたん見かけなくなりました。
My having entered and noticed Malawi is that the number of tracks decreased at a stretch. Asphalt of a way is white. (Kenya and Tanzania were the same colors as Japan.) I feel like that people of Malawi's personalities are very different too.  Although I've met great people since I came to Africa, f I were to say what I felt, Tanzanian sees in black and white (? lol) and Malawian are gentle. It's "Warm of Africa" aka the slogan of Malawi. And there were too many motorbikes in Tanzania and of course those were running the inside of a town continually also in the inside of the mountain but I've not seen since I came into Malawi.

昨日のブログをインターネットカフェで書いたあとホテルの部屋に戻りシャワーを浴びようとするとお湯が出ません。仕方がないのでタオルで体を拭いて寝ました（寒）【イリンガ泊：MRホテル（＄４５）】

ナイロビでは全く雨を経験しませんでしたが、アルーシャからはあちこちで雨に降られていてカッパの脱ぎ着が面倒です。ただライディングブーツ（BMW／福田モーター）、ライディングジャケット＆パンツはゴアテックス製なので少々の雨はそのままでもOKなので大変助かっています。

朝食を食べていると一人の中国人男性が「ニイハオ」と声をかけて来ます。基本的にアフリカではアジア人は珍しいのでお互いに少し話しを。私の活動の紹介をした後、先方に「仕事ですか？」と聞くと「うーん・・」と。旅人にはいろいろな理由があるようです(笑)

お世話になったホテルの方々に見送られ、イリンガを８：３０前に出発。途中、またもや大小様々な車の事故を目撃。本当に危ない、危ない。巻き込まれないようにしないと。今日もサルを初め野生の動物をいくつか見かけました。途中、十数キロおきに無数に点在する村の商店街？にいつか立ち寄ろうと思うのだがなかなか勇気ときっかけがない。通りかかるだけでものすごい注目だし大声を張り上げてくる人も多くいる。そしてかわいい子供がよく手を振ってくれます。でもよく見ると手を振っているのではなく、「お金をくれ」の手の形の子が沢山います(笑)

空の青さが違う！

【ムベヤ泊：Mtリビングストンホテル（＄３５）】

モロゴロとイリンガではホテルが判りにくく、５人位いに聞いてやっと着いたのですがムベヤは一回聞いただけで到着です。チェックインして部屋に入るとまずはお湯が出ることの確認です。予約時にインターネットが使用できると確認したのですが実際はサーバーが壊れているらしく使用不可能でした。

ホテルの駐車場でオートバイの整備をしていると遠くから子供がこっちを見ています。ちょっとづつ近づいて来ます。まるで「だるまさんが転んだ」のようにちょっと見ると近い距離に来ています。「ジャンボ（スワヒリ語でこんにちは）」というと一気に近寄ってきてオートバイを見に来ました(笑)１２歳の男の子でした。この子に将来なりたい夢を訪ねると『タンザニアの大統領になりたいです』とキッパリ言い切りました（汗）・・エラい。。

国立公園内にあるモロゴロタウンは自然に恵まれた地域でした。

一泊＄５０の部屋はアフリカならではのホテルといった感じです。

ナイロビもそうでしたが浴槽がなくシャワーだけです。電力が不足しているのはアフリカ全体で共通していることですが特にここはホテル内のレストラン、客室も出来る限り電灯が暗く抑えられていたりします。レストランで夕食が出てきても暗くて何が出てきたかわかりませんというのは言い過ぎですが結構、くらーいです(笑)

今日はモロゴロからイリンガ間約、３５０キロほどの移動でした。やはり途中、工事中の箇所がいくつかあったり長い峠越えの区間があるためロングトラックの超スロー走行にひっかかったりしているうちに予定どおりのペースで進むことが出来ません。しかし一番時間をとられたのはモロゴロを出発してから１００キロほど走ったあたりの国立公園内のMIKUMIというあたりで動物が沢山登場したことです。まず、道の脇を何やら歩いている物体が！猿ですよ、サル～！と感動してバイクを止めて写真撮影開始。ピントはしっかり合うのですが最新のデジカメでもサルの顔認識はしませんでした。

そのあと、インパラの大群、象、キリン、大きな鳥・・などの動物を見る事が出来ました。うまくいけばライオンが見れる時もあるそうです。

最初のサルは結構、感動だったのですがその後イリンガまで、沢山のサルを見かけ最後はもう見飽きました(笑)

今日の区間はまるで北海道の雄大さと九州阿蘇の素晴らしいワインディングを一緒にしたような楽しさを味わうことが出来ました。

途中、山の中を走行中、道ばたで子供が手を振っているので「子供インタビュータンザニア編」を試みようとUターンをしました。「ジャンボ～！」と挨拶すると「ギブミーマネー」と帰ってきました。よく「二言目には～」と言いますが、一言目です(笑)　まあ彼らにとっては当然の姿勢であり正しい活動です。逆の立場になれば理解出来ます。私もそうするでしょう(笑)

でも話しかけても会話になりません。そう、彼らは英語が出来なかったのです。よく考えれは昼間、学校に行かないで山道を歩いている子供達ですので英語も学んでいないのです。スワヒリ語のみでした。「ギブミーマネー」だけは覚えているのでしょうね。タンザニアの子供インタビューは是非したいと思い、適当な村か町でチャンスを探しつつ走っていたらイリンガに到着してしまいました。陽が高いうちにホテルに到着できたので大きな荷物をバイクから下し、チェックインして着替えをし、そしてホテルのフロントのフレディさんに主旨を説明し子供に会いたいと言ってみましたら「おやすい御用です」快く応えてくれました。
すぐに子供を３人どっかから呼んで来てくれました(笑)　ただこの町のエリアの子供達も英語が話せません。フレディさんの通訳のお陰でうまく撮影が成功しました。こちらの映像のアップまで少々お待ち下さい。

タンザニアのアルーシャからモロゴロ間、約６００キロ＠＠！全て舗装路でしたが９時間半かかりました。。はふ～＾＾；でも私にとってはとても嬉しいツーリングでした。日本でも仲間とこんなペースのツーリングをしていましたから長時間、乗車していることは大丈夫なのですが日本と違って大変だったことを今日の感想として言い表すと、「障害物競走」です！(笑) 

It's about 600 km from Arusha to Morogoro in Tanzania! Even the road is pavement surface, it took 9 and half hours... But it was very happy touring for me. I'm fine for driving long time because I've had like this long touring with my buddies in Japan but It was an "obstacle race" when I describe as today's comment that it was serious unlike Japan! lol
舗装されていると言っても路面は穴ぼこが多く、大きいものにはまったら大転倒です（怖）さらにはねられて死んだ動物があちこちに横たわっているものがものすごい沢山。。これに乗り上げても、生きている動物と当たっても惨事です。それから子供の飛び出し。そしてケニアからずっとですが町が近づくと路面上にバンプが無数に設置されていて気付かずに高速のまま、乗り上げたらこれも転倒につながる可能性があり、なにしろショックアブソーバーへの負担が多くオートバイを痛めることになります。あ、それから日本は前方をよく見ていれば良いのですが、こちらは後方確認が必要です。もう～、すんごい勢いてどんどん無謀に抜いてきます。１２０キロで走っている私を人間山盛りのバスが１４０キロくらいで突然くるので超慌てます（＾＾；）

まだまだ余裕がないので写真はとても少ないですが報告とともに。

警官チェック（検問）が多いです。他国が陸続きで集まる大陸の特徴でしょうか。携帯電話を見せてと言ってきました。iPhoneに興味があったようです。

There are many policeman checks (police inspection). Are countries the features of the continent in which it gathers by land continuation? He asked me to show my cell to him. He seemed like to be interested in iPhone.

タンザニアはご存知「キリマンジャロ」を有する国です。将来ゆっくり行ってみたいところです。

究極の箱乗り！(笑)　人間山盛りのバスがあちこちで見かけます。

It's a supreme leaning out of bus! lol I can see buses which are too full of customers anywhere. 

このような事故も本日だけで二度みかけました。運転も荒いし、整備も不十分な車両が横行です。

人気がないブッシュで休憩。エンジンを止めると虫の音しか聞こえない。

明日も早朝出発でイリンガを目指します。

ナイロビ到着直後、スカイプで家族と話しをした時に、小学生の息子が「パパ、どこにいるの？」「アフリカのケニアだよ」「遠いね～」と感動していました。
When I talked with my family via Skype right after I arrived at Nirobi, my son who is an elementary school student asked me that "where are you, daddy?" so I told him "I'm in Kenya, Africa."  then he so impressed and said "it's so far.".

あれから１０日近くたった今日、その息子が「パパ、今はどこにいるの？」「まだナイロビだよ」「まだナイロビ・・」あきれていました(笑)
It's been 10 days today since I talked with him and he asked me "where are you now, daddy? so I answered "I'm still in Nairobi." then he said "you still..." with being disagreeably surprised. lol

昨日と今日は、さすがに体がなまってきて逆に筋肉が痛く（？）なってきたので気分転換も兼ねて運動をすることに。昨日はホテル内のジムでランニングとマシンです。本来ならホテルの回りをジョギングしたいところですが、なかなか一人で外出することが安全上ままなりません。本日は初めてプールに入りました。優雅にプールサイドで昼間からアルコールを飲み、読書やおしゃべりを楽しむ白人達を横目に私は学校の水泳部のように何往復も泳ぎました(笑)　ハワイのダイビング「サンシャインスキューバ」で鍛えてもらったせいか少し泳ぎが上手くなった気がします。日本を出発前にアドバイスを頂いた世界２周！＠＠もしてきた女性ライダーうらんさんの持ち物に「水着」があったので私もそんなの使うことあるのかな？と思いながら持って来たのですがいきなり登場、活躍です(笑)
I feel like my body is getting out of shape and my muscle is not well, so I decided to exercise for a change. I was running and machine exercise at the gym in the hotel yesterday. I wanted to go for a jog around the hotel but it is difficult to go out myself alone due to safety. Today I got into the pool for the fist time. With a side-glance at whites who drink alcohol from daytime at the poolside gracefully and enjoy reading and chatting, I was swimming laps like a swimmer at a school swimming club. lol  I feel that I'm getting better for swimming maybe because "Sunshine scuba" aka scuba diving in Hawaii made me train. Ms. Uran who did two round-the-world trips and is a rider gave me some advice, and there is a swim suite as her belonging, so I was wondering I will use it but I brought it. And it came up big! lol

夕方までかなり強い日差しが残っているので外出から戻った時間でもプールに入ることが出来ました。

Nairobi in Kenya is directly under the equator mostly like this.
Since sunlight quite strong till the evening remained, I was able to go into the pool also in time which returned from going out.





あと、やはり世界一周から昨年戻られた「自由人さん」からのアドバイスの携帯ウォシュレットもかなりイイ感じです(笑)　他の沢山のことについても、さすが先人のアドバイスは身にしみます。スタート後はもっとそれを感じることになるでしょう。

And a portable  washlet aka toilet with bidet is useful as the advice from "Freeman" who came from the around the world journey. The advice of  many other things from predecessors also well understood. I will feel it deeply after I start this journey.


今日の外出というのは、撮影データ他を日本にDHLで送付や、海外携帯電話の通話時間延長の手続き、その他の買い出しをするためにホテル常駐のタクシーで町に出ました。まずジャンプケーブルを購入したいと言うとドライバーのフランシスさんが何件も、何件もまわりやっと売っている店を見つけてくれました。
深く御礼を告げ少し多めのチップと共にタクシー代を支払うと受け取った金額以上のサービスをしたいらしく、ほかに必要なものはないか、どんな用事が残っているかと聞くと、それを全て完了するまでヘルプして回ってくれました。なんと感動的なことでしょう（T０T）
Today's my outing purposes are sending the data of videotaping to Japan via DHL, procedure of duration-of-call extension of my overseas mobile phone and purchasing some other stuff, so I used a resident taxi in the hotel for outing. First I told Francis who is a driver that I want to buy a jump cable then he's looked for many stores and finally found the store which sell it. I thank to him very much and gave him little extra chip with taxi fare then he wants to do service more than he received so asked me that if I have more stuff to get, and he's helped me until I get all what I need. What a impressive his kindness. *impressed tears*

オートバイは結局、月曜の夜になってもクリアリングが出来ていないとのことなので明日、日本大使館に行く事にしました。また報告いたします＾＾！
About my motorbike, the clearance has not been finished yet on Monday night, so I decided to go to Japanese embassy tomorrow. I will report you about it!

多くの方からご心配や励ましのメールを頂いておりますので現時点での状況を説明致します。
Since I have received worry and encouragement mails from many people, I explain the situation in this time.

私のオートバイは日本からケニア／モンバサ港にすでに昨年中に入りました。
問題は通関の作業です。旅に使用するオートバイが入国するために「カルネ」という書類を当局宛に提出します。これによってこのオートバイはケニア国内で販売するためのものでなく、移動の手段として一時輸入され、現地で販売されることなく数日後には出国していきますよ、だから関税はかけないで下さい、という旨の内容を記したジュネーブ条約で認められ、JAFから発行されたものになります。
My motorbike have already arrived at Kenya/ Mombasa port from Japan last year. The problem is the custom clearance. Due to immigrate with the motorbike which is used in the journey,  we submit "carnet" to them. It approved under the Geneva Convention that this motorbike is not for selling in Kenya, was imported for using a way of traveling and is being left in several days without being sold there, and the carnet was issued by JAF.

ここまでを全て日本でコーディネートをしてくれている旅行会社に頼んであったのですが、ケニア現地でこの件を請け負っている旅行会社のエージェントが言うには、通関当局の彼らはそのカルネというものに慣れていないので扱いに慎重になっている、とか、持ち主のパスポートを確かめたいのでコピーでなく本物のパスポートが急遽必要になったとか、許可を出す担当者が今日は不在だとか、いろいろ状況が変わているとのことです。
I've asked the agency which has taken care of all of this work in Japan, but the agent who is taking care of this in Kenya told me that the custom office here doesn't get used to deal with this, so they are careful to do and asked/said to the agent that they want to make sure the real passport then they need it from me hastily, the person who is give approval is out of office today and situations are changing many times.

そのような理由でこのエージェントが私に伝えてくる「ホテルにオートバイを届ける日」の情報が二転三転してきているのはそういった事情のようです。

現時点でこのエージェントからは「結局、月曜にクリアリングが出来る予定なので余裕をみて水曜日１２日にホテルにオートバイを届けられると思う」とのことです。
The situation has been changed few times about "the arrival date of my motorbike in the hotel" which the agent tells me because of those reasons.
At this point, the agent told me that "finally they will be able to complete the clearance on Monday, so it will be delivered to the hotel on 12th, Wednesday if we plan an extra day."

私が信頼して依頼した日本の旅行会社とその請負の現地会社の方々を信頼してオートバイを待ちたいと思っています。
I try to trust Japanese agency which I've been trusting to ask for and agency in Kenya and wait for my motorbike being delivered.

いや〜、お陰で大分スワヒリ語を覚えてきた。(笑) 
Well, thanks to that I'm getting remembering some Swahili well. lol

うーん、何かが間違っている？結局パスポートも旅行会社から戻らず、オートバイの先行きもはっきりしない。・・精神的に色々学べる時ですな。わはは。。

Hmmm... there is something wrong? My passport hasn't been returned from the travel agency, and I'm not sure where's my motorbike at. This is the time to lean a lot for mental.  :-)

ということで買い物がいくつが発生したのでついに町に出ることに！

ホテルのスタッフとタクシーの運転手から丁寧に安全なエリアと町での言動のアドバイスを受けて、センターオブナイロビに一人降り立つことに。アドバイスとは、腕時計はするな、話しかけられても答えるな、黄色くないタクシーは乗るな、ヒルトンホテルより東は行くな・・等々です。町はとっても活気があって楽しい！店の店員さんもとっても親切。あと町中ではモスクがあることもありイスラムの方がかなり目についたのは意外でした。

So since I have few things to buy, I go to the downtown!
I got some advice about the safe area and behavior at the town carefully from the hotel clerk and the taxi driver, then I came to the center of Nairobi by myself. The advice is that don't wear a watch, never answer if someone talk to me, don't go to west from the Hilton hotel and so on. Here is very lively and fun! Store clerks are very kind. And there are mosques in the town so I was surprised that I could see many Islam people.
It is a situation of a town.

There was a Japanese-made motorbike.

ヤマハのR－１ですね。エンブレムもなにもなくなっています。写真を撮るだけで精一杯でした。もっとじろじろバイクを見たかったのですが回りの人が私をじろじろみていましたので(笑)

It is YAMAHA R-1. There is nothing even an emblem. I was as hard as possible only by taking a photo.　Although I wanted to see a motorbike more nearly, since my surrounding people were seeing me narrowly, it was not able to do. lol 

買い物というのは、アフリカでは大敵で怖い蚊！なのですがちょっと喰われただけでこんなんです(笑)　
Although mosquitoes are powerful enemies in Africa, it will be like this even I got a little mosquito bite.

マラリアにならないようにと思い購入したのは、これ。
So I bought this to prevent being sick with malaria.

なんとよく見ると日本製！少し安心しました。(笑)　また昔懐かしくもあります。

When I look carefully, it is made from Japan! I feel little relieved. :-) And also bring back old memories.
