[Australia]to Porthedland from Carnarvon

もー、朝から暑い！
It's morning and already hot!
裸で飯です。
I eat breakfast basically naked.
このキャンプ場は向いはアボリジニ居住地だった。
昨夜、間違えて入って行ってしまった時、裸ん坊の子供が走っていたのだが、ほぼ黒人に近い雰囲気だった。
On the opposite side of this camp site live Aborigines I've been told.
Last night I mistakenly entered it, and naked toddlers and children were running around. It was an atmosphere just like in Africa.
ちなみにこのキャンプ場には、ここに住み着いているような人が多く見受けられる。
In any case, I can see quite a few people who seem to be continuously living on this camp site.
もっとも奇妙？だったのは、７つある大用の個室トイレのうち二つがずっと閉まっていてノックしたら返してきて、夜中も朝もそいう状態だった。
トイレの中にも住民がいるってなんなんだ？
The strangest thing? Out of 7 toilets for general use, 2 were continuously shut. And when I knocked on the door, someone knocked back. At night and during the day the same thing.
What is that – people living in a toilet??
この町を離れる前に見ておきたかったもの！
通称、Big Dish（大皿）。
And this is want I wanted to see before I leave this town!
Nick name: Big Dish.
アポロ計画のロケットを追い続ける任務をここで遂行された。
今はモニュメントとしてのみ残してある。
アポロ計画に関する博物館があったそうだが、見当たらなくて残念。
It's duty was to follow the Apollo on its tour.
These days it is only a monument.
Apparently there is also an Apollo museum, but I sadly I wasn't able to find it.
ダーウィンに向けてどんどん北上します！
Driving towards Darwin, I'm progressively going North.
途中、コーラルベイに寄ろうか考えた。多くの方のお勧めの場所だ。
I thought of passing by Coral Bay on the way. That is a place I have been recommended by a lot of people.
「Coral Bay 140Km」と標識があり、左折するとその方向だ。
“Coral Bay 104km” indicates a sign post pointing to the left.
往復３００キロ近くは厳しいな、そして昨日、美しい海は堪能したので次回の楽しみにとっておこう！
300 kilometres return is rather relentless, but yesterday I got satisfied with the beauty of the sea, so I'll be instead looking forward to the next time.
北上すると増えて来た標識。
The further North I get, the more frequent become these sign posts.
雨量が多いと、水没の可能性があるらしい。
Apparently, this are gets flooded when there is heavy rain fall.
脇道に入ったところにはこんなフェンスが。
And somewhere on the road side, there is this kind of fence.
毒だらけのエリアって何？
怖いなあ。
What is that, an area full of poison?
Scary!
幸い今年は干ばつで雨が少ないとトールさんから連絡が入った。
いやー、有り難い！！
From Toru-san there's been a call saying that this is a really tough year with little rain fall.
Well no, I'm thankful for it!!
あの雲が怪しいが降らないことを祈る。
That cloud there looks a bit suspicious and I just hope it won't rain.
今日も、走りに走って到着したポートヘッドランド。
Today, too, I drive and then drive some more, and finally arrive in Port Hedland.
美しい夕焼けが貨物列車の向こうに見えた。
Set against a beautiful sunset I can see a passing by freight train at a distance.
先端の港まできた。
And I came to the harbour right at the tip of the bay.
製塩が地場産業のよう。
The local industry is specialised in salt production.
地元の人に教えてもらったキャンプ場に辿り着いたときはもうオフィスはクローズしていた。
When I arrive at the camp site that I was shown by the locals, the office is already closed.
トイレもシャワーも鍵がかかっていて使えないのでどうしたものかと思っていると偶然、係員と会えて鍵をもらえた。
良かった！
Both, toilet as well as shower are locked by key and can't be used. And just as I was thinking of what to do, I meet the manager by coincidence and am given the key.
Lucky me!
また暗闇でのテント設営！
And again, I have to build the tent up in the dark.
いやー、白旗です。
なにがかというと、この湿度の究極高いこと！
そしてこういう日に限って、風もなく、虫、蚊の嵐！
Nope, this is a white flag.
It means that the humidity is extraordinarily high!
And on days like this, without the slightest bit of a breeze, mosquitoes and other insects wreak havoc.
そんな中でブログを書く事がすっごく辛い。
パソコンの画面に虫がうじゃうじゃ。
そして昨日も今日も、巨大なバッタに体当たりをくわされる。。
And to write the blog under this circumstances is really, really tough.
There are mosquitoes all over the laptop screen.
And yesterday as well as today giant grasshoppers jump on my body and feed on me.
そしてたぶん、夜は眠りニクイ。
And to make matters worse, it's difficult to fall asleep.
明日もこんな状況だったら、素直に宿を探して入ろう。
If it is gonna be like this also tomorrow, I'll honestly be looking for a hotel to stay in.
