国立公園内にあるモロゴロタウンは自然に恵まれた地域でした。

一泊＄５０の部屋はアフリカならではのホテルといった感じです。

Morogoro town where is in the national park was blessed with beautiful
nature.
DSCF1069ナイロビもそうでしたが浴槽がなくシャワーだけです。電力が不足しているのはアフリカ全体で共通していることですが特にここはホテル内のレストラン、客室も出来る限り電灯が暗く抑えられていたりします。レストランで夕食が出てきても暗くて何が出てきたかわかりませんというのは言い過ぎですが結構、くらーいです(笑)
The room of overnight-stay $50 is a hotel unique to Africa. Although it is
common that electric power is insufficient in whole Africa, especially as
for here, also the electric light is pressed down as much as possible darkly
in the restaurant in the hotel and rooms. It is out of line that I cannot
see what are those because of the darkness even my dinner comes but actually
it's very dark though. lol


今日はモロゴロからイリンガ間約、３５０キロほどの移動でした。やはり途中、工事中の箇所がいくつかあったり長い峠越えの区間があるためロングトラックの超スロー走行にひっかかったりしているうちに予定どおりのペースで進むことが出来ません。しかし一番時間をとられたのはモロゴロを出発してから１００キロほど走ったあたりの国立公園内のMIKUMIというあたりで動物が沢山登場したことです。まず、道の脇を何やら歩いている物体が！猿ですよ、サル～！と感動してバイクを止めて写真撮影開始。ピントはしっかり合うのですが最新のデジカメでもサルの顔認識はしませんでした。

I've driven about 350 km between Morogoro and Iringa today. On the way,
there are some contraction spots and a long pass to get over which long
trucks were driving slowly, so I cannot progress at a pace as planned.
However, time's having been taken most is that many animals appeared by
MIKUMI in the national park of the hit run about 100 km, after leaving
Morogoro. First, I saw something that is walking along at a side of the
road! It's a monkey! Then I was impressed so I made a stop to start taking
pictures. Although the focus suited firmly, it has not recognized the face
of the monkey with the newest digital camera either.


DSCF1085そのあと、インパラの大群、象、キリン、大きな鳥・・などの動物を見る事が出来ました。うまくいけばライオンが見れる時もあるそうです。

最初のサルは結構、感動だったのですがその後イリンガまで、沢山のサルを見かけ最後はもう見飽きました(笑)

After that, I could see clouds of impala, elephants, giraffes, big birds and
so on. It seems that there is a chance to see lions with luck.
I was impressed when I saw first monkey but I've seen many till arrive at
Iringa afterwards, so I got tired of looking at. lol


今日の区間はまるで北海道の雄大さと九州阿蘇の素晴らしいワインディングを一緒にしたような楽しさを味わうことが出来ました。

I was able to enjoy to which today's section mixed the magnificence of

Hokkaido, and wonderful winding of Aso, Kyushu, completely.


途中、山の中を走行中、道ばたで子供が手を振っているので「子供インタビュータンザニア編」を試みようとUターンをしました。「ジャンボ～！」と挨拶すると「ギブミーマネー」と帰ってきました。よく「二言目には～」と言いますが、一言目です(笑)　まあ彼らにとっては当然の姿勢であり正しい活動です。逆の立場になれば理解出来ます。私もそうするでしょう(笑)

While I was driving in the mountain, I saw a kid who is a waving hand, so I
thought that try to have kid's interview in Tanzania so I made a u-turn.
When I say "Jambo!", a kid reply me with "Give my money.". I've heard often
that they would say it as the second words but it was actually the first
one. lol Well, it was right and proper activity for them. When I view from
their side, I can understand. And I will do same thing. lol


でも話しかけても会話になりません。そう、彼らは英語が出来なかったのです。よく考えれは昼間、学校に行かないで山道を歩いている子供達ですので英語も学んでいないのです。スワヒリ語のみでした。「ギブミーマネー」だけは覚えているのでしょうね。タンザニアの子供インタビューは是非したいと思い、適当な村か町でチャンスを探しつつ走っていたらイリンガに到着してしまいました。陽が高いうちにホテルに到着できたので大きな荷物をバイクから下し、チェックインして着替えをし、そしてホテルのフロントのフレディさんに主旨を説明し子供に会いたいと言ってみましたら「おやすい御用です」快く応えてくれました。
DSCF1111すぐに子供を３人どっかから呼んで来てくれました(笑)　ただこの町のエリアの子供達も英語が話せません。フレディさんの通訳のお陰でうまく撮影が成功しました。こちらの映像のアップまで少々お待ち下さい。

But when I talk to them, we cannot have a conversation. They seem like don't
speak English. When I think about it carefully, they don't go to school and
are walking on street in a mountain so they've not learned English either.
They only speak Swahili. Maybe they just remember the words of "Give me
money." I've desired to have kid's interviews in Tanzania, so I've been
looking for a chance at a village or town and driving forward then arrived
at Iringa. I could arrived at the hotel when the sun is still up, so I took
off my big baggage from my motorbike and checked-in. I've explained Freddy
who is a front clerk of the hotel about that I want to give kid's interview
then she responded "No problem." kindly. He brought 3 kinds from somewhere
immediately. (lol) But kids from around this area cannot speak English

アルーシャ～モロゴロと同様特に、昼食をしないで目的地まで走ってきたので遅い昼食と早い夕食を兼ねてイリンガのホテルと隣接のホテルで食事です。

I've been here without lunch today also, so I have a meal as late lunch/
early dinner at the restaurant next to the hotel. I ordered the
recommendation dish then they asked me chicken, beef or fish, so I ordered
chicken. Then the roast chicken came out.


DSCF1121もし都内のレストランで食べたら１５００円くらいするものが３００円台です（嬉）それとアフリカにきてずっとですが何しろマンゴジュースがおいしい！毎日飲んでいます。それと安い！生フレッシュジュースが５０円です！

If I have this at a restaurant in Tokyo, it will be 1500 yen but here is
around 300 yen. *happy* And Mango juice is tasty in Africa! I drink
everyday. And it's also cheap! Fresh juice is 50 yen!


子供インタビューの通訳を担当してくれたフレディが私を町に連れ出してくれました。活気あふれるマーケットや都市部の主たるところ。

それとフレディの従兄弟がマラリアで入院しているとのことで病院にも行き、一緒にお見舞いをしました。こんな経験も旅の良いところでしょう。それにしても蚊・・、ヤバいと思いました（怖）

ホテルでインターネットが使えると聞いていたのですが結局利用できなかったので近くのインターネットカフェに行きました！ちなみにインターネットカフェに入ったのは日本含めて初めてです(笑)

明日はタンザニアと別れ、マラウイに入ります。二年ぶりのマラウイに心踊ります！マラウイはチュワ語です。

Freddy who did interpreter for the kid's interviews took me out to the town.
He showed me around active market and main places of the town.
His cousin stays in a hospital due to maralia, so we went to see him
together. It is good experience of the trip. Well, mosquitoes... I thought
so scary...
I've heard that I can use internet in the hotel, but I couldn't ,so I went
to an internet cafe! By the way, it was the first time for me to go an
internet cafe even including in Japan. lol
I will leave Tanzania tomorrow and get into Malawi. It's been there since 2
years, so I'm exciting! Malawi's language is Chichewa.
