Today is the day that I can receive my motorbike! I get up 4:30 in the morning as usual and do office work until the time of breakfast.
Actually there are many office work. 
It is arrangements of hotels and checking of the route that time is taken most. 
It becomes the greatest enemy to get lost for my trip which goes by the tight schedule.
I have to prepare well.

 

ケープタウン滞在中に普段の洗濯に加えて、いよいよ異臭を放ってきた？(笑)
ライディングパンツの洗濯です。
ドライクリーニングは避けるようにラフアンドロード社からの取説指示が付いていたので普通のランドリーサービスをホテルで利用することに。
メチャメチャきれいになって戻ってきたのでかなり嬉しいです。
特にブラワヨからフランシスタウンの川の中をいくつもバイクで通過した時から泥だらけ状態でしたのでさっぱりしました。

バイクの引き取り時間にBMWのディーラーに行くと、私のバイクがエンジンをかけた状態で待機状態にある。
するとワークショップからちょうどシェーンが出てきて、「テストドライブに行ってくるよ」と。
そして「リアサスペンションは新品だよ！＾＾」颯爽と長い手足がかっこいいシェーンが私のバイクに乗って外出して行きました。
戻って来るともう一人のメカを呼んで細部の調整をしてくれた。
チェーンの張りを調整する際には外してあったパニアケース（トランク）を敢えて取り付けて荷物の積載状態で行ったり、とにかく作業内容が的確であり、また早い！
日本のディーラーと違ってこちらはゆっくり作業で、へたするといい加減なのかなと思ったら大間違い！人の動きが異様なほど早く、次から次へと仕事をこなしていく状態を見てかなり驚きました。
また接客態度、人格も高い人が多いことに気がつきました。
かなりの競争社会の影響ではないかと思う。
ケープタウンの労働者は月収中央値が３０万円超えというから稼ぐ人は稼ぐ。
街中で最新型のフェラーリも２回見た。
 

While I'm staying in Capetown, I wash my usual clothes and my riding bottom which is getting smelly (lol). Since the operation manual directions from Rough & Road were attached so that dry cleaning might be avoided, I decided to use ordinary laundry service in the hotel.
I'm so happy that it came back to me very clean. 
I passed through many inside of the river in Francistown by motorbike from Bulawayo especially and it was muddy, so it refreshed. 
When I go to the dealer of BMW at the taking over time of my motorbike, it is stand by as my motorbike has started the engine. 
Then, Shane came out exactly from the shop and said to me, "I go to a test drive."
And also he said "The rear suspension is new one! :-)"
Shane who has long arms and legs rides my motorbike and went out for testing.
Once he comes back, he brings one mechanic and adjust detail of it. 
When they adjust the tension of a chain, they attach the removed pannier case to it purposely, and carry out by a load stacking. 
Their contents of work are exact anyhow and it is quick!
I thought that a dealer from here is lazy and so slow if I compare with Japanese one but I was totally wrong! They move and work so quick and are done work from one to the next and it made me surprised.
And I realized they have very good attitude toward helping and taking care of the customer and there are many people who have high personal qualities. 
I think that it is influence of a competitive society.
The workers of Cape Town are said for the median of a monthly income to exceed 300,000 yen. 
I also looked at the newest Ferrari in a town twice. 
 

バイクの整備を完璧にしてもらいディーラーの方々と別れを惜しみつつ店を後にする。
皆口々に、
お元気で！良い旅を、気をつけてね、また是非南アフリカに来て！
・・と、面々が声をかけてくれる。

私の場合、バイク屋に居る限り異国の地にいる気がしなくてほっとする空間だったが一旦外へ出るとまた南アフリカの世界。
信号待ちで年配の白人が「日本から来たのか！？」声をかけてくれる。
バイクに貼っている「J」マークですぐ判るようだ。
今日は日本に送る荷物を出すために海外宅急便のDHLのオフィスに行くため、バイク屋から９キロ離れた所まで走った。
ホテルまで往復１８キロ。
ホテルのフロントのスタッフに「日本に荷物を送りたいのでDHLを教えて」と言うとその場所が最も近いというのでそこに足を運んだ。
バイクの確認走行にはちょうど良かった。
DHLのオフィスに着いて手続きを終える際に、シーポイント（私の泊まっているホテル）近くにはDHLは無いんだよね？と聞くと、私のホテルから歩いて５分のところにあると言う。
ガクッ。
これも教訓になった。
何か調べる際は複数の方から情報を得ること。
 

They've done the maintenance for my motorbike perfectly, then I'm reluctant to part from them and leave the shop.
Everyone say "Have a safe trip! Take care! Please come back here again!" to me.
For me, while I was in the motorbike shop, I feel like I'm in home and don't feel I'm in foreign country but once I go out from there, I feel I'm in South Africa.
When I stopped at a red light, one white guy asked me "You are from Japan?" It seems that people understands immediately by the "J" mark stuck on my motorbike.
I drove to DHL office which is 9 km away from the motorbike shop today due to send the package to Japan. It is 18 km for the round trip.
I asked to the hotel clerk that "I want to send my package to Japan so could please tell me DHL location?" then the clerk told me that DHL which is the closest distance from the hotel so I went there.
It was good distance for checking my motor bike after the maintenance.
When I arrived at DHL officeand finished the process for my package, I asked the staff that there is no DHL near by Seapoint which is my hotel, right? then the staff told me that there is one just 5 min away by walk.
It teaches me a good lesson.
When I search something, I should get information from a number of people. 
 

明日ついにケープタウンを離れ南アフリカ最後の町スプリングボックに行く。
５００キロ以上の距離があるため明朝早く出発する。
出発の為のオートバイの準備をしたあと軽く早めの夕食を取ろうと近くの和食屋へ。
そしたらここがとにかく遅い・・メニューにうどんと焼きとり？とあった（嬉）のでそれをオーダーをしたら、３０分近くしてやっとうどんが来た。
でもこれ絶対、うどんじゃない(笑)　
うどんぽいものを食べ終わるころに焼き鳥が来たと思ったら凄いちゃんとしたミール。
食べきれない！！大変もったいないことに残してしまった。
セカンドハーベストに申し訳ない(笑)　
またこちらに来て大好きになってしまったものがある。
コーラです。
とにかくこちらは味が濃いのでコーラが合うのです。
とはいってもアフリカでも南に来れば来るほど味が濃くなっていると思うのは気のせい？
九州みたい(笑)
 

Finally I leave Capetown and go to Springbok which is the last city in South Africa tomorrow.
I will leave early morning tomorrow because the distance is more than 500 km.
Due to my early departure tomorrow, I went to Japanese restaurant for having early dinner after I completed of checking up my motorbike.
Then the serving meals are very late here... there is Udon noodle and Yakitori in the menu, so I ordered those.
I waited about 30 mins then Udon noodle came.
But this is definitely not Udon (lol) I finished to eat Udon then Yakitori came.
But it was a big meal, so I couldn't finish!!
I feel very sorry but I left it some.
I feel also sorry to Second Harvest.(lol)
Since I came here, I'm into one thing. It's coke.  
Taste of foods have strong flavor, so coke match with those. 
It might just be me but when I come getting south in Africa, flavor is getting strong.
It's like Kyushu in Japan.
 

町を歩いていると今日も「ニイハオ」と言われた。
今回の相手は中国人からだ。
南アフリカでも中国人は沢山見る。
日本人は全然と言って良いほど見ない。
これも時代の波、国際情勢を物語る風景なんだろうと感じた。
 

When I walked alone in the town, I was said "Nihao". Chinese greeted me this time.
I can see many Chinese people in South Africa.
And I hardly see Japanese.
I felt that it would be the scenery that this also tells the wave of a time, and the international situation. 

あとケープタウンは夜、風が凄い！！！
毎晩、台風が来ているみたいにホテルの近所でいろんな物が倒れたりものが落ちたりで？様々な音が聞こえる。
夕方バイクで走っていてもまっすぐ走れないこともあるくらいでした。
 

And it is very stron win at night in Capetown.
I can hear various sounds that many kinds of things fall down or  over near by the hotel, and it's like a typhoon day every night.
When I've driven at one evening, I couldn't drive straight sometimes.

When I thought it is the unusual formal motorbike so maybe a new model...

明日は我が身と気を引き締めました。
ライダーがどうか無事でいますように。
It's possible that something could happen to me, so I pull up my socks.
May the rider be safe in how!

I was allowed to stick the sticker of my world dream touring on this bulletin board!

シェーンが帰ってきてすぐに作業。
まるでサーキットのピットワークのようでした。
When Shane came back, they started to work on immediately. 
It was like the pit work of the circuit.

請求書：７万円ほど。前後タイヤ交換、リアスペアタイヤ購入を考えると思ったより高くなかった。
It costed about 70,000 JPY. It was not so expensive than my expect that order to tire exchange and rear spare tire purchase were considered.

I ordered "shrimp Udon noodle" for my dinner then there is no soup almost! It cannot be said Udon. (lol)

大好物の焼き鳥にはありつけなかった。。
I couldn't have my favorite Yakitori here...
