いよいよ、アフリカ大陸北上を開始しました！

Finally I have started to move toward to the north in Africa!
 

ケープタウンを抜けたハイウェイのガソリンスタンドで声をかけられました。「ケープタウンから北上かい？イワン・マクレガー達はリビアからケープタウンまで走った「LONG WAY Down」だったから君は「LONG WAY Up」だな！まさにこの道を走ったんだよ」と。
 

One person spoke to me in the gas station of the highway which escaped from Cape Town. He said  "Are you going up North from Cape Town? Since Ivan McGregor and others were "LONG WAY Down" which drove from Libya to Cape Town, you are "LONG WAY Up"! They drove this way."
 

まだ南アフリカ国内ですが、北へ進むということだけでムードが一気に変わって行きます。町は少なく人も歩いていません。ほとんど変わり映えしない景色にかなり眠気が襲ってきます。再び赤道方面に向かうことになるわでですが既に激アツです！今日の走行中、最高気温は３８度を記録！＠＠。今までは走行中、景色も、途中の町も沢山あって走っていて飽きなかったので目的地まで一気に走りきれることも多かったのですが今日は長かった～。はー。途中の木陰を見つけてバイクを停車させて休むと必ずいるのがハエ。ナミビアに近くなればなるほど増えています。なんででしょう？
 

Although I'm still in South Africa, the atmosphere has been changing when I'm going up to the north. There are few towns and people are not walking along either. Sleepiness attacks considerably at me for the scene which hardly changes. I've been moving toward to the equator, and it's already been VERY hot! While I was driving today, the highest temperature became up to 38℃! There are also many towns on the way and the scene was also able to be completed to the destination until now in many cases, so I didn't get bored while I was driving but I felt so long driving today.Oh well... When I make a stop for my break time at a shade under a tree, there are always flies.  When I'm coming close to get to Namibia, those are increasing. Why?
 

今日、到着したホテルはスプリングボックという町の外れで、オキープという地域にあるホテルと言う名のロッジです。【オキープカントリーホテル：＄６５朝食込み】ここは６０年ほど前まで炭坑で栄えた町だったようでホテル内のあちこちにその当時を思い起こさせる数々の思い出の写真が飾ってあります。今はかなり廃れてしまった感が町に漂いますが静かで人も優しそうな所です。
 

I arrived today's hotel which is located suburban of Springbok and called O'Kelp and it is the lodge. [O'Kelp Country Hotel: $65 including breakfast] Here was the town which prospered before about 60 years in the coal mine shaft, many pictures which make that time recollect have decorated many places in the hotel. Although it seems that it has gone out of use considerably now, it is a place which seems to be quiet and be gentle also as for people. 
 

明日はナミビアに入国です。

I'm coming into Namibia tomorrow.
 

このホテルは予約時にはインターネットがフロント付近であれば使用出来ると案内されていたので行ってみると、フロントのPCを貸してあげるとのこと(笑)　親切です。貸してもらったのはいいのですが日本語対応でないものだったので何も出来ずじまいでした。普段はツイッターだけは出来るのですが何故か今回は不可能でした。そういえば、ボーフォートウェストのロッジもインターネット使用可能！と案内をもらっていたので「インターネットが使えるって聞いたんですけど」というと、フロントの年配女性が究極の笑顔で「はい＾＾！道を渡った所がインターネットカフェですよ＾＾」と。。面白過ぎる！
 

I was said that I can use internet service around the fron desk area when I booked the hotel, so I came to that area then they offered me to use their computer.(lol) Very kind. But it doesn't support Japanese so I couldn't do anything. Normally I can tweet but I cannot this time. I don't know why though. Well, I was said that I can use internet in the rodge in Beaufort West, so I asked the lady at the front that "I was said that I can use internet.", then she said "Yes. An internet cafe is across the street. :-)"... It's too funny!

The room was gorgeous in Cape Town. I thank that I could be done my work well.

ケープタウン出発時、約９０００キロ。ヨーロッパ到達まであと２００００キロほどある。

It was about 9000km when I started Cape Town. There is about 20000km until getting to Europe.

途中沢山の工事渋滞があった。どんどん道が良くなっていくんだね。

There are many traffic jam on the way because of constructions. The road will be getting better.

My motorbike is getting hot. There is no shade for long time.

どこで雨が降ってるか判るから面白い。

It is interesting that I can tell the place where is raining.

結局あの雨に突入してびしょ濡れに。。

Actually I got into that rain so got wet...

でも数分後にはカラッと。

But it become dry few mins later.

誰もいないリビングを報告書作成などの作業時に使わせてもらいました。

I was allowed to use the living room which is nobody there when I wad doing my paper works.

There are many pictures which are telling the old glory on the wall.

The sound of animate voice of those days or a coal mine shaft is likely to be heard.

夕食をロッジで戴く。まず飲み物は？というので私はアルコールを飲まないのでグリーンティーを注文すると「withモーク？」というモークって何？と聞くと説明出来ないので現物を持ってきた。ああミルク（Milk）ね(笑)アフリカ人の方の英語はちょっと聞き取りにくいことがある。紅茶と同じ扱いをするのが面白い。
 

I had dinner at the lodge. The waiter asked that "what would you like to drink?" I don't drink alcohol, so I ordered green tea then he asked me "with moke?" So I asked him that "what is moke?" He couldn't explain it so brought it to me. It was MILK. (lol) It is hard to listen African English for me sometime. And they categorize green tea same as black tea that is interesting.

夕食の何にするか決めあぐねていたのでオススメは？と店の方に聞くとスプリンボックで有名な料理は「ラムネック（羊の首）です」というので頼んでみたらこれが絶品！でした。
 

It was hard to decide what to have for dinner, so I asked him the recommendation. then he said that "ram neck" is famous dish in Springbok, so I ordered it. It was great!
