お待たせいたしました！
グァテマラの子供の声、上がりました＾＾
Thank you for your patience! I finally uploaded the video interview from Guatemala ^_^!

マヤ系先住民族が大半のこの国ではどんな声をもらえるか？と興味津々でした。
I was excited to find out what kind of story I could obtain from the country that occupied by an aborigine people of Mayan Civilization.

このご家庭はブログにも触れた通り、親戚に日本でスペイン語の先生をしていたことがある方がいらっしゃったため日本についてよく知っていましたねー。
As I mentioned in my blog earlier, this family was very familiar with Japan. They have a relative who was a Spanish teacher in Japan.

もし、まったくそういった縁がない家庭であればグァテマラの子供は日本のことをなんていったのかも知りたいところです。
I wonder what kind of story I would hear from a Guatemalan family who didn’t know anything about Japan.

最近の傾向として、「津波」「地震」「放射能」という声はほとんど聞かなくなってきたことも感じます。
I noticed that we haven’t heard anything about tsunamis, earthquakes, and radioactivity anymore.

そして先日のラジオでもお話したことですが、「幸せの価値観」については、ここでも「家族」について話してくれました。
I mentioned “value of happiness” in a radio broadcast. The boy talked about his family as his value of happiness.

子供インタビューの数、４０カ国目となった今は、その部分については答えに予想が出来るほどです。
でも、その声を聞く度に、暖かく、平和で、嬉しい気持になるのが楽しみでしかたがありません。
After interviewing children in 40 different countries, I can expect the answer to “value of happiness”. Even if I can expect the answer, it always makes me feel warm, peaceful, and happy every time I hear that from the children.
