【アルゼンチン】バイア ブランカ〜プエルト マドリンの旅

今日も長旅なので早めに出発します。
バイアブランカではブエノスアイレスで出来なかった大西洋を堪能しようと思っていたのですがまったく何も見ないまま街を後にします。
うーん、残念。
今日の目的地のプエルトマドリンまでお預けにしましょう！
I'm leaving earlier for another long day.
My original plan was to see Atlantic Ocean since I couldn't do in Buenos Aires, but I need to leave the town without it.
I really wanted to see the ocean though.
I will make that happen at today's destination, Puerto Madryn.
朝食時、二人のブラジル人ライダーが起きてこなかったので彼らのバイクに置き手紙代わりに私の名刺とWDTのステッカーを差し込んでおきます。
At breakfast, the two Brazilian riders didn't show up, so I left my business cards and WDT stickers on their motorcycles as me messages for them.
２２号線を走りながら給油のタイミングを考えているとリオ・コロラドという小さな町が出て来た。
早め、早めの給油を心がけたいのでスタンドへ寄ります。
I was thinking about when to get gas while on route 22, then I entered this small town called Rio Colorado.
I should get gas whenever I can, so I stopped at a gas station.
んがっ！この町のガソリンスタンドにもガソリンがない！
４−５軒ある町のスタンドをドライバー達が右往左往している。
Oh no! there is no gas in this town either!
Many drivers are looking for gas among 4-5 gas stations here.
一つのスタンドで「今、タンクローリーから給油中なのであと１時間くらい」と言われるも怪しい。
バイクが数台集まっているスタンドを発見！
彼らはここで待って給油をするという。
At one of the gas stations, they say they should be ready in about one hour because they are getting gas from a tank lorry now. But I doubt it.
I found a gas station where some riders are around!
They say they are going to wait here to get gas.
ブラジルから来ていて私と同じ、南米最南端の町ウシュアイアを目指すのだと。
They are from Brazil, and they are headed to the southernmost city in the South America, Ushaia just like I am.
「一緒に行こうよ！」と誘ってくれる。
なんとも嬉しいのですが今回は一人旅がテーマなので丁重にお断りする。
幸い私のバイクは改造したビッグタンクのお陰でなんとか次の町まで行けそうだ。
彼らと別れて出発する。
"Let's ride together!"
They invited me to go with them.
It makes me happy, but I told them that I have to do this ride all by myself because of the purpose of the trip.
I said good bye to them and left there.
しかし、ここからが長い。
万が一、次の町でもガソリンが無かったことを考えて、燃費を抑えて時速８０キロ走行で走る。
次の町に辿り着いた。
But! it is going to be a long way from here.
Just in case that there might be no gas in the next town, either, I try to have a good gas mileage by driving at 80kmp.
I finally got to the next town.
町に入ると数件のスタンドがあるが皆、ガラーンとしていてガソリンが無いようだ。
I see several gas stations in this town, but there is nobody there, so they don't seem like they have gas.
長蛇の列のガソリンスタンドを発見、そして先頭の車は給油している！
I found the gas station and there is a long line! I see the car at front is getting some gas!
おお、ここはガソリンがある！
列の最後尾に並んで待ち、無事給油。
They have some gas!
After being in line, I got some gas.
その後そこでランチを摂っているとさきほどのブラジル人グループがここに入って来た。
彼らはここでも給油をするとのこと。
サポートカーも付いているようで総勢７人ぐらいのようだ。
After that, the Brazilians came in when I was having lunch.
They said they are going to get some gas here, too.
There are about 7 people with a supporting car.
「ヘイ！ ハポネス（日本人）！」
"Hey! Japones!"
私を呼ぶ。
彼らのお揃いのTシャツをプレゼントしてくれた。
They called me and gave me the matching T-shirt.
言葉は通じなくてもこんな心遣いがとても嬉しい。
There is a language barrier, but such a manner makes me feel good.
南米人達にとってもウシュアイアへ行く事はとても特別のようだ。
It looks like such a big deal even to South Americans to go to Ushaia, too.
「また、会おう！」と再び彼らと別れて出発。
"See you, again!" said good-bye again and left.
それにしても風が強い！！！
気を抜くと車線を外れて、対向車線か、ダートへ飛び出してしまう。
バイクがナナメになりながらの走行が続く。
By the way, the wind is blowing so hard!!!
If I don't focus, the wind makes me go to the opposite side of the road across the line, or get off the road.
I need to continue leaning with my motorcycle to balance the strong wind.
そして靄がすごい。
遠くの大気全体を霞ませているのは海が近いため、その強風によって運ばれてくる塩と土埃りのようだ。
And it's real hazy out here.
This is because there is the ocean right there and the wind from the ocean carries salt and dust to the entire area.
覚悟していた暑さが今日は全くない。
最高に高い時で３０℃。
あとはほぼ、２０℃ー２５℃くらいでちょうど良い。
I was ready for the heat, but it's not that hot today.
High is 30c.
For the rest, it's between 20 and 25c. It's just comfortable.
今日、最初に寄ったガソリンスタンド付近のコロラド川を境についにパタゴニアに入ったのだ。
南緯４０度以南をパタゴニア地方と呼び、南極圏を含む南米の最南の地域は、冷涼気候、風が強く、曇り空が多いそう。
Finally I got to Patagonia after the boarder of Colorado River that was near the first gas station I stopped today.
This area, south of South latitude 40 degrees, is called Patagonia region, and the area including Antarctica is micro thermal climate, windy, and cloudy.
そして、そして！
私が楽しみにしていた、大西洋との再会！！
プエルト・マドリンに到着です。
And then!
I saw Atlantic Ocean again that I had been very much looking forward to!!!
I am in Puerto Madryn now.
大西洋は中米のベリーズ以来だ。
海の向こうはアフリカ。
でも緯度的にはここはもう、南アフリカの最南端よりさらに南。
I have not seen Atlantic Ocean since Belize.
There is Africa over the ocean.
Considering the latitude, it's actually more south than the south end of African continent.
リゾート地でもあるこのプエルトマドリンに二泊して明日は少し観光へ行ってきます。
I will stay 2 nights in this resort, Puerto Madryn, have some sight seeing tomorrow.
あー、お腹が空いた！！
昨日、今日とエンパナーダかサンドイッチ続きだったので美味しいアサード（アルゼンチンのステーキ）を食べてきまーす！
I am so hungry now!!!
I have been eating empanada or sandwiches yesterday and today, so I am going to eat some good Asado (Argentina steak)
