It's only a small contribution I'm afraid, but I hope it will be useful for the cause anyway.
According to friends living in the disaster area, it is really difficult to get hold of food supplies. I hope this is enough to deliver good to at least one additional person.

【アルゼンチン】ウシュアイア滞在２

[Argentina] Ushuaia Part 2

ビーグル水道クルーズに乗ります！
Today I'll take a cruise on the Beagle Channel!

出航！・・してかなりたってから撮影。
Ship Ahoy! … but I only took this picture fair bit of time after we'd set sail.

ビーグル水道はウシュアイアのあたりで幅が１０キロ、狭いところで１キロなので巨大な運河と言う感じです。
無数の島や岩礁を観光しながら周ります。
Close to Ushuaia, the Beagle Channel is at the widest point 10 kilometres, and at the most narrow point 1 kilometres wide, hence it feels more like a giant canal.
The tour takes in numerous small islands and riffs.

The ship is identical to the one that I was riding on. These pair bodied ships are called 'catamaran'.

まさに海洋生物達の楽園。
This sure is a paradise of all sea animals.

The seals, are rather unimpressed and seem even bored.

In the evening I'm meeting a biker who I've been looking forward to see.

15 Unchain ミノハラさんです！
It's Minohara-san!

本名は簑原十伍さん。（漢字、大丈夫かな）
みのちゃんは、昨年８月にウラジオストック（ロシア）で出会った方で４ヶ月半ぶりの再会です！
彼は日本から韓国経由でロシアに渡り、イギリスまで見事到達。
しかし残念なことにイギリスでバイクの盗難に遭ってしまう。
旅もここまでか、と思いきや南米まできてバイクを購入し、旅の続行を可能にした見上げた根性の持ち主です。
His full name is Jugo Minohara (Hmm, are this really the right Kanji??)
I met Mino-chan last year in August in Vladivostok (Russia), and have not seen him in the over four and a half month since!
He's travelled from Japan via Korea and Russia, and splendidly arrived finally in the UK.
But then, in the UK his bike got stolen.
Was that it as for travelling? Yet against all expectations he came to South America, bought a bike, and proved that the journey could be continued. That's the type of person with will power he is.

私達は地球をお互い逆方向に走り、遂にこのウシュアイアで会う事が出来ました。
感無量で、待ち合わせ場所でハグ！
評判の良いレストランに行き、美味しい料理と酒を頂きながらこれまでの互いの旅の報告や、情報交換をします。
And now finally, the two us who'd been travelling around the world in opposite directions, managed to meet here in Ushuaia.
Deeply moved me hug each other upon meeting again.
Without further ado, we went to a fairly well reputed restaurant, and exchanged our mutual journey's information and stories over a good meal and drinks..

楽しかったこと、辛かったこと。
そして何よりも世界中で多くの方に助けられ、親切に肖ったこと。
お互い走ったルートは反対でも、貴重な経験をし胸に刻まれていることには多くの共通点がありました。
Good times, and tough times.
But not the least, the support we got from people around globe, and that offered us kindness all along the way.
And while our routes lead in opposite directions, many the experiences we accumulated, and left traces in our hearts, were very similar in many aspects.
Mino-chan ordered Trucha (trout), and I got crab.
Absolutely delicious!! Of course, this is Ushuaia!
I forgot to take a picture at the outset of the meal, that was accompanied all along with plenty of drinks …
The drinks in fact was a wine recommended by the owner of the restaurant.


お互いの話しはとどまることなく盛り上がり、ワインも赤白合計４本空けた。
レストランに入った時は客がガラガラな開店時間の１９時過ぎだったのに、気が付くと客は私達二人だけの閉店時間を過ぎていた。
Our conversation kept flowing and approached it's climax. At which point we had opened 4 bottles of wine (red and white) in total.

And although it was just after the restaurant opened, just after 7pm, when we arrived, it was just the two of us who stays on until past closing time.


当然の如く、もう一軒行こう！となり近くのビアバーへ。

And it goes without saying that we went straight on to the next place, the neighbouring beer bar.

ここは多くの客待ちが出来るほどの人気店だけあって食事が最高に美味しい！
みのちゃんはトルーチャ（マス）、私はクラブ（カニ）を頂きます。　
めちゃくちゃ旨い！！　流石、ウシュアイア！
最初っから酒が進み料理の写真を撮ることも忘れ・・。
酒は、店員セニョールお勧めのビーノ（ワイン）を頂きます。
As expected there were a lot of people waiting to get in, but the food was absolutely delicious!
久しぶり、究極の酔っぱらいになりました！
It's been ages that I got so drunk as this!

俺達人間は、グデングデンです。
Dead drunk, that's what we were.
