朝起きると身体中が痛い。
特に左肩。
念入りにストレッチをして、ボンジョビをかけて気合いを入れる。
昨日買っておいた朝食を摂り出発準備。
My whole body was sore when I woke up this morning.
My left shoulder was especially worse.
I took extra time to stretch my body. I played Jon Bon Jovi to stimulate myself.
After eating breakfast that I bought yesterday, I got ready to leave.

今日、向かうはペリトモレノ。
当初の旅程ではバホカラコレスという町で一泊のつもりだったが、三郎さん情報ではもう一つ先のペリトモレノまで一日で移動出来るとのことなので行ってしまう予定。
出来れば一日も早くチリの首都、サンチャゴのBMWディーラーとツアラテックに行きたい。
まさに私の身体と同じ、満身創痍のバイクを可能な限り直してから最後の大陸、オーストラリアに臨みたい。
Today’s destination is Perito Moreno.
I was originally going to spend a night at Bajo Calacokes. However, I found out from Mr. Saburo that I was able to go pass the town and go to Perito Moreno in one day.
I wanted to go to Santiago, the capital city, and go to the BMW dealer shop and Touratech as soon as possible.
Just like my body, my bike was covered with cuts and bruises. I wanted to fix as much of it as I can, and also challenge the last continent, Australia.

昨日のカラファテ〜G／グレゴレスのルートよりも今日は途中、舗装路が一部開通していて有り難い。
Today’s route was a lot better than yesterday’s. I was going from Calafate to Gregores, and it was a bit difficult. The paved road was partially open, and it helped me.

酷い土煙が舞う中、バホカラコレスに到着、昼食休憩。
三郎さんと井戸さんの情報どおり、町は本当に小さく、ガソリンスタンドと宿しかない。
Making dust, I arrived in Bajo Calacokes. I decided to take a lunch break.
It was a small town with a gas station and a hotel, just like Mr. Saburo and Mr. Ido said.
















ペリトモレノでもしもの事を考えて、ここでガソリンを入れておこうと店に入ると親父さんが
I decided to get gas here, just in case something happened in Perito Moreno. I entered the gas station store.

「ノー、ガソリン」と。
“No gasoline,” the man said.

ということは、G／グレゴレスからペリトモレノまでの約３５０キロは無給油区間となる。
ホント、アルゼンチンを走る時はガソリンの予備を十分持ってないと足止めをくらう。
This meant that I couldn’t get any gas between Gregores and Perito Moreno. The ride would be around 350 kilometers long.
It was going to delay the trip if I didn’t have any extra gas while in Argentina.
















誰も走っていないのに、遠くの道路上に土煙が俟っている。
I saw some dust far from me. There was nobody there.

それだけの強風だ。
特にダート路を走行中の超突風には参る。
「風」が原因で転倒しそうになる。
There was a strong wind.
I didn’t like the sudden strong wind while I was driving, especially on the dirt.
It almost made me fall over.

パタゴニアの嵐はまだまだ続きそうだ。
It looked like the storm of Patagonia would continue.

無事、ペリトモレノに到着した。
ここも小ぶりな町で人口は５０００人くらいか。
I arrived in Perito Moreno safely.
This is another small town with a population of 5,000.

町の中心にある小さなツーリストインフォメーションでガソリンスタンドと宿を訪ねる。
I asked for gas station and hotel information at the information desk at the center of the town.

なんと、ホテルは全く満室で部屋がないと。
Unfortunately, I was told that there weren’t any vacancies.

「テントで寝るしかないわねえ。」
“You’ll need to sleep in a tent,” the woman said.

「えー、テント持ってないっすww」
“I don’t have a tent.” I told her.

「うそうそ」
“I’m just kidding,” she replied.

冗談をかまされた。
楽しいオバちゃんだった。
キッチン付きのドミトリーを紹介されそこへ。
ここはちゃんとインターネットも使える。
She was just joking around with me.
She was a fun person.
She offered me a dormitory with a kitchen.
I had internet access there.

明日はどうしようか悩む。
当初の予定通り、ダート１５０キロ先のリオマヨか。
明日もスキップして、一気にエスケルへ行くのか。
エスケルまで行くとしたら１０時間コースだ。
身体は痛くて疲れもある。そしてダートも含む。
I wondered about what I should do tomorrow.
Should I follow my original plan and go to Rio Mayo? By the dirt road, it’s 150 kilometers away.
Should I go to Esquel by passing Rio Mayo? It would take ten hours to get to Esquel.
My body was tired and hurting so badly. Plus, tomorrow’s ride would be on a dirt road. 

どうする？と自分に問いかけるが、
I kept asking myself,

そんなこと言ってて行くんだろ？と言っている自分がいる。
“I need to go anyway, right?” a part of me asked.

そう、GO！だ。
Yes! The answer was “GO!”

ただガソリンだけが心配だな。
The only concern was gasoline…
