[Chile] Santiago #7
Finally I am leaving Santiago tomorrow.
I finished with things that could be done at the hotel, then went to the post office to mail some boxes to Japan in the afternoon.
We are going to take two videos this evening. One is a video of my message that will be used at my friend's company.
I will show you later!
Jugo Minohara helped me make the videos. Since he is a professional photographer, his advice during the session was just right.
The other video is of the children we interviewed in Chile!
Jorge, who I had met at Carlos' "God's hand" shop “Motouring,” showed up. We met at an amusement park-like shopping mall that reminds me of Roppongi Hills in Japan, and he helped me find children to interview with parent(s).
These children, a 10 year old boy and 9 year old girl, agreed to be interviewed, and answered my questions very well although they were nervous.
In other advanced countries, there were many times it was difficult to find children for the interview without appointments, but because of Jorge's personality and credibility, we were very successful here.
Also, Minohara had a big camera, so we produced the session in a professional environment.
After that Jorge's girlfriend Daniella, who is a doctor, joined us and 4 of us went to a nearby Japanese restaurant. They will be busy in the early morning tomorrow, so we had to say good-bye here. But in July, Jorge will be on a business trip to Japan. We commited to see each other there.
Thank you so much, Jorge!
As usual, Jugo and I went out to Santiago downtown for a drink.
It's in a casual environment.
"It's like Shinbashi in Japan," said Jugo at the standing bar.
We had a great time talking about serious things, and some goofy subjects as well.
We enjoyed some famous Chilean wine and domestic beers until late at night.
