I leave Honduras which I stayed only one day, and I go to Nicaragua.
After I went through the embarkation procedure in Honduras and try to go Nicaragua side then...
Wow! I could see big Japanese sign!!
Happy☆
In fact, also after that, I was able to see some bridges with this sign.
I could go into Nicaragua with no problems.
「Good-bye! Honduras!! Hello! Nicaragua!!」
When I enter Nicaragua, it become more wonderful view☆
The mountain just like Mt. Fuji greets me.
Many villages like a riverside area are seen in since the rainy season has just finished.
Bad road is still same.
The slalom run which avoids and runs holes are continuing.

I have made a good start that I was able to give a kid's interview! :)
There was encounter with a good family at the simple restaurant and gas station with same property near the entrance of a town called Leon!
The big sister who is 17 years old was good at speaking English. Although her little brother is 13 years old, she recommended to give him an interview, so I did it.
I was impressed with his opinion which gazed at the future of Nicaragua because the politics is unstable.
They were very admirable kids.
Just I can say is wonderful

Since I could give a kid's interview here, I was able to visit the town of Leon which I tried to pass. ;)
The best highlight of this town is the Cathedral.
This is the biggest one in middle American countries.

It is the roof of one building. Maybe the word which is the top of zinc roofing fit more.
"Hero Memorial Hall"
It had just been be set here to one of the bases of the organization "FSLN" (Frente Garabundo Marti de Liberacion Nacional) which saved the state in Nicaragua from U.S. rule.
It is the same as that of Choi Guevara, the volunteer who had taken action to protect a racial country forms a guerrilla unit, and there is history which has finally held political power.
The janitor here guided me even I am only one visitor, and explained carefully.
Since his explanation was filled with his passion, and I have also understood Spanish, it is wonderful.
The Nicaragua presidential election occurs miraculously today and President Ortega of this FSLN was reelected.
While I am writing this blog, election results come out by TV, a town seethes, and that news is broadcast by every channels.
The flag of FSLN appears from the TV screen.
Outside, the sound of fireworks and a firecracker (?) is resounding now.
I arrived from Leon to capital Managua of today's destination.
To the Plaza de la Republica.
Right-hand side is a royal palace.
This royal palace is a famous place used as the stage of bushfighting.
Left-hand side is a cathedral.
According to the repeated earthquake, since there is danger of crash, they are ruins now.
Waterside is better when I have touring!
So go to Lago de Managua!
The lakeside of dusk is the best!!
When I see a bike which is parked,
I can see this imprint on the engine.
Although I thought it's just kidding, it is not a lie if some Japanese parts are used.
I have not had lunch, so I had early dinner at a restaurant at lakeside.
I ordered a dish which is the waiter's recommendation as usual.
This is rum. Maybe...
It was pretty good. (176 cordoba = 600 yen)
Since it is a tourist resort price, isn't it so cheap?
The beautiful sunset relieves tiredness.
The capital became dark completely.
The neon signs are bright because of a presidential election? Or is it always so bright?
"FSLN" which came into power anew today had hung up the character of "Freedom or Death" over its guerrilla days at the flag.
I looked at their photograph drawing which passed away by young age, and I thought that they were earnest for getting freedom.
I feel that I was taught what is the "earnest” by them.
